Project Description

The striking design of the Oman Museum Across Ages covers an area of approximately 40,000 square meters and is inspired by the geometric lines of the Hajar mountains and its ravines. The new Renaissance museum narrates Oman's history from prehistory to the present, focusing on the Renaissance period when Oman experienced development under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. COX architects based the design of this monumental project on this period of growth.
